Swim suit for people with chronic diseases

For people living with chronic diseases causing spontaneous fainting, like epilepsy, heart diseases or diabetes mellitus, drowning is the leading cause of death*. This project aims to create a participatory design for swimwear that triggers a rescue system in the event of a medical emergency to prevent the person from drowning. In addition, outsiders should be alerted via a smartwatch application and guided through the rescue procedure.
