Bachelor Thesis: Development of an interactive floor plan for blind and visually impaired people

For my bachelor thesis, I prototyped an interactive floor plan with an integrated shape display
(see here how a shape display works). The code was written in Python, the map was designed in Fusion 360 and 3D-printed in PLA. With the shape display, the map indicates if the room is free or occupied. If the room is free, it can be booked by the user (this process is coupled with authentication via personal university ID).
